I promise I’ll be there for our child.
Our child will know what it feels like to hold my hand, get kissed goodnight, be on my shoulders, hear me say I’m proud of them, have their tears wiped away, fall asleep to a story…
Nightmares will scare them less, loneliness wont find them so easily.
I wont be my dad and our child will not be me 19 years ago.
