I promise I'll be there for our child.
Our child will know what it feels like to hold my hand, get kissed goodnight, be on my shoulders, hear me say I’m proud of them, have their tears wiped away, fall asleep to a story…
Nightmares will scare them less, loneliness wont find them so easily.
I wont be my dad and our child will not be me 19 years ago.
I'm really not good with words.
You know this better than most, but whenever I can’t find the right words to express how I feel about you, just look into my eyes. Feel the way my heart skips a beat when you hold my hand, hug me or kiss me.
When words are absent, look beyond them and you’ll see perfectly how much I love you.
Sometimes when we cuddle and watch something or begin to fall asleep, I feel you run your fingers over my hand/arm/leg.
Just that small touch from you sends chills down my spine.
I completely forget about what we are watching or about falling asleep and just focus on your movements.
You take my breath away every time and it’s one of the ways I can tell you love me.
